Dear All
I hope you and yours are well and looking forward to Christmas?
A tribute to Duncan
I want to start this message by paying tribute to CBPC Committee member Duncan Hannay-Robertson who tragically passed away on 27th November, he was 59. He spent his final few days in Addenbrookes battling an aggressive cancer to the end. Many of you will have your own memories of Duncan; to the committee he was an active part of the team and a great friend with a cheeky smile and always enjoyable company. He will be sorely missed.
The year ahead
On to next year and we hope to have a conversation with Queen’s College in early January, at this point we assume there will be no return to normality in the near future. We will of course update you when we know more.
A Christmas drink, 7pm, 22nd December
Finally, the committee would like to invite you to a raise a glass to Christmas and remember our departed friend Duncan at 7pm on December 22nd. Please join us if you can on Zoom using this link. You will need speakers and a microphone (and ideally a webcam) on your computer to do this. Alternatively you can dial in using the Zoom app on a smartphone (which you will need to download in advance on your iOS or Android).
I hope to see you then and if not, on behalf of the committee have a safe and wonderful Christmas and New year. And we look forwarded to seeing you in person in 2021.
Best wishes
Paul Gibson, CBPC President
